If it makes any difference, I have also softmodded the Wii to add the Homebrew Channel, although I haven't really ever used that or anything else enabled by softmodding - I mostly just run DVD game backups.

The system software is up to date at 4.3E. I have a PAL Wii that was bought in earlier 2007 and modded with an original Wiikey. All other backups are currently playing fine. It shows up fine in the disc channel, but after I press play it almost immediately comes up with a message saying 'An error has occurred' and tells me to remove the disc and restart the Wii. Wii before, so I thought I'd give that a go. But every month we have large bills and running ads is our only way to cover them.

I've never actually played New Super Mario Bros. We don't have paywalls or sell mods - we never will. Once I add the 4th one and start dolphin, it will begin to drop the wiimotes, either 1 or 2 or 3 or all 4 sometimes or cause extreme lag 2-5 seconds.I recently dusted off my Wii and got back into playing it. Either way, I get the same error, 3 works perfectly fine. The revisions I used were 7417, official 2.0, and a few others I think 73.

I too have the same problem and I tested it out on my laptop a Sony Vaio VPCCW14FX and my desktop: windows 7 ultimate 64x, ATI HD 5850, 6.00 GB DDR3 ram, P6T SE mobo, intel core i7 930, an ssd drive and using a bluetooth dongle (cheap but still pretty good) I found on amazon.
